William Hinner

June 25, 1933 — September 26, 2018

William E. "Bill" Hinner, 85, of Ocoee, Florida (formerly of Georgetown, Illinois), passed away Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Ocoee. He was born on June 25th, 1933, to the late Chester and Alice (McFall) Hinner in Danville, Illinois. He graduated from Danville High School in 1951, before serving his Country as a Sergeant in the Army from 1953 to 1955. He worked for General Motors as a sand lab technician for thirty-five years. After his retirement, he spent the next thirty years splitting his time between Illinois and Florida. While in Georgetown, he attended Bethel Baptist Church.
Bill enjoyed taking walks, reading, playing euchre, and baseball. He was a Cardinal fan and an avid storyteller.
Bill is preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Hinner; sister, Mary Humphrey; and brother, John Hinner. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Vice) Hinner; daughter Cathy (Bob) Restivo; granddaughter Rachel (Sean) Zaccaria; grandson Tony Restivo; and greatgrandchildren, Eli, Brinley, and Cason. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A private memorial service will be held in Florida. Memorial contributions may be made to Georgetown Historical Society, P.O.
