Wanda Sullivan, age 74, passed away on October 23rd, 2016 at the Legacy House, a loving hospice home in Ocala, Florida. Wanda was born in Dalton, Georgia to Mack and Gladys Caldwell. As the daughter of a minister, she grew up in the many communities where her parents pastored, including Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Michigan and Kentucky. As an adult, she called Louisville, Kentucky, Winter Garden, Florida, Leesburg, Florida and most recently Snellville, Georgia home.
She was a talented self-taught pianist and singer who loved to praise God through her musical gifts in church. She loved interior decorating, was an excellent cook, and she loved to entertain. Her faith in God, her family and her many friends were the most important things in her life.
She is survived by her brother Bill Caldwell, her son Michael Sullivan and daughter-in-law Rebecca, her daughter Melody Gaffney and son-in-law Sean, her stepdaughter, Vickie Leeman and husband Gary and their children, her grandchildren Kaleigh husband Jamie, Josh, Emaleigh, Grace and Nash and her great granddaughter Michaela.
The family will receive visitors at the Southside Church of God of Prophecy in Winter Garden, Florida on Saturday, October 29th at 10:00am and the funeral service will be held at the same location at 11:00am with graveside immediately afterwards at the Winter Garden Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of Marion County, PO Box 4860, Ocala, FL 34478-4860.
