Wanda Piña, 55, of Orlando, had her first sunset on May 30th, 1963, and her last sunset on Wednesday, May 8th, 2019. Wanda was born to Lydia and Rafael Piña in Manhattan, though she spent much of her life in Florida. She is survived by many members of her large, loving family, including her children, Sophia, Vanessa, Fernando, Jenny, Peter, and Kellie; mother, Lydia; grandchildren, Angel and Mia; siblings, Papo, Myra, and Joey; Aunt, Margarita; and cousins, Chicky, Janet, Maria, and Junito; as well as her beloved dog, Jordan. Wanda is preceded in death by her father, Ralph; and her grandparents, Pasquale and Pablo Rodriquez and Rafael and Juana Piña.
Wanda was a simple woman who lived her life with grace. She was a dedicated mother to her children and the best mom in the world. She could often be found enjoying reruns of classic American TV shows, especially I Love Lucy, Andy Griffith, and Walker Texas Ranger, or playing through a few levels of her favorite game, Candy Crush.
A Catholic prayer service will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 10am in the Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home chapel.
