Vicky Amelia (Morris) Agnew, beloved wife, daughter and sister, passed away at home on January 7th, 2020, after a battle with cancer.
Born in Orlando to parents Hollis and Robbie Morris, Vicky graduated from Lakeview High School and spent her years in Winter Garden, Jacksonville, and Ocoee. Vicky was a dedicated housewife who loved to draw in her free time. Her art, which often featured flowers and butterflies, brought a smile to everyone. More than anything though, Vicky loved her large extended family. Combining these two loves, she was known to make her own coloring books for her many nieces and nephews to enjoy.
Vicky is survived by her mother, Robbie Morris; husband, John D. Agnew; sisters, Virginia Paice, Ann Gainous, Velinda Morris, Rhonda West, and Renee Lentz; brother, James Morris; nephews, Jason, Kevin, Keith, Reed, Brandon, Jeremy, Rhett, Jeff, and R.J.; nieces, Jennifer, Megan, and Brandie; as well as nine great-nephews and nine great-nieces, whom she loved very much.
Preceding Vicky in death is her father, Hollis Morris.
Vicky’s family will receive friends for a visitation on Saturday, January 11th, from 12-1 PM at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow beginning at 1 pm, with interment in Winter Garden Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
Vicky’s family would like extend a special to thank her hospice nurses, who helped tremendously in the past month
