Thelma Rich

Rich, Thelma M. Little 96, of Ocoee, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013. Thelma was born in Danville, Georgia, on August 3, 1916, to George and Fannie Mae Little. She moved with her parents to Ocoee in 1920 where she attended Ocoee High School and graduated in 1935. After graduation she worked in the citrus packing industry. In 1938 she married Clyde Pitts Meredith and was widowed in 1941. She married Lindy Rich in 1947 and they celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary in July 1997 before his death in December. Thelma was a Christian and attended the Church of God of Prophecy as long as her health permitted. She is predeceased by her parents, first husband Clyde P. Meredith, second husband Lindy Rich, son Clyde E. Meredith, and sisters Velma Nobles, Alma Reynolds, and Opal Crissey. She is survived by her son Wade Rich Linda of Ocoee, and daughter Wanda Phillips Ronnie of Apopka grandchildren Michelle Meredith Gray, Michael Meredith, Judd Rich, Jodi Rich, and Austin Phillips great grandchildren Garret Gray and Grant Gray and sister Lillian Adams of Orlando.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 16 from 6 8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17 at 10 AM in the chapel of Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home with interment at the Ocoee Cemetery.
