Tarcio Constant, 57, of Winter Garden, FL (formerly of Westford, MA) passed away unexpectedly on March 14, 2020. Tarcio was born in Criciuma, Santa Catarina, Brazil and immigrated to the United States in 1985. He achieved his goal of living the American dream, first working as a delivery driver for Rosie's Bakery in Boston, then working his way up through many tech firms and finishing his career as a Senior Software Consultant. After residing in the the Boston area for nearly 35 years he moved to the Orlando area in 2019. He loved the newest computers, phones and gadgets, always talking to friends and family that would listen to the latest trends. Tarcio loved playing his saxophone from an early age. He enjoyed making music, including personally recording the song for the father-daughter dance at his daughter's wedding; contributed many years playing in his church's band; and played with numerous groups including Red Box Panic. The musical highlight for him was playing for a work event at the House of Blues. In his later years Tarcio courageously battled numerous cancers. He was a warrior as he fought each illness with a positive attitude and unwavering support from family and friends.
Tarcio is the son of the late Tarcio Almeida Constant and Doracy "Vera" Amaro dos Anjos de Souza and his step-father the late Manoel Agnel de Souza. He is survived by his beloved wife Aline Constant and their son Tarcio, Jr; his daughter Juliane Nelson (DeSouza) from his first marriage with Cacilda de Souza; and his son-in-law Bart Nelson and grandson Benjamin. Tarcio is also, survived by extended family members and many loving friends.
His family would like to thank the many healthcare professionals that worked with Tarcio to give us more years to enjoy together.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2020, 10am, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 18, 2020 from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
