Sidney "Mike" Dukes

Sidney Michael Dukes age 71, of Winter Garden passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25th surrounded by his family. Michael was born September 30, 1948 in Charleston, SC to Wade and Pauline Dukes. Michael married his high school sweetheart, Lynn Dilling, on December 28, 1968. Together they had two children, Michael Gregory and Kimberly Dawn. Michael and his family moved to Florida in 1989 and has lived in Winter Garden for the last 10 years. Michael was a hardworking, loving husband, father, uncle, brother and grandfather. Besides his grandchildren, Austin and Alex, his greatest passion was Clemson football. If you knew Michael, you knew better than to say otherwise!

Michael is survived by his Son, Michael Gregory Dukes (Beverly) of Lawrenceville, Ga., Daughter, Kimberly Treat (Jon) of Winter Garden, two Grandsons Austin and Alex Treat of Winter Garden, his three brothers Ron Dukes (Syble), Raymond Dukes (Jeannie), Kenny Dukes, his Sister, Kathrine Rhodes and many nieces and nephews.

Michael is preceded in death by his loving wife Lynn Dilling Dukes, his Mother, Pauline Jacobs Dukes and Father, Donnie Wade Dukes.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 28, 2020, 1 pm at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends starting at 12 pm.  Interment will follow at Winter Garden Cemetery.
