Sandra Gosnell

Sandra Lee Gosnell, affectionately known as "Bubbles" to those close to her, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 20th, 2019. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to parents James and Gladys Carter.

Sandra was known for her sweet, bubbly personality. She loved cooking and crocheting, but her favorite pastime was supporting the QVC network (her grandchildren would never go without gourmet peanuts on her watch). A loyal Rays fan until she passed, she enjoyed watching games and sharing her love of baseball with her family, who meant the world to her.

Bubbles is preceded in death by her sister, Diane Campfield. She is survived by her mother, Gladys Carter; daughters, Cherie Bland and April Jenkins (Tim); son, Mark Edward Hurt; sister Susie Bradley; brothers Randall and Jeffrey Carter; grandchildren Elijah, Jacob, Lindsay, Johnny, Heather, Justin, Kyle, Brianna, and Carter; great-grandchildren Colton, Alyssa, Madison, Trey, and Kendall; and her beloved dog, Roxy.

Bubbles touched many lives and she will be remembered fondly by everyone who met her.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 23rd, 2019, at 2 PM in the Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home Chapel.
