Rosemary Watters

Rosemary Watters, 82, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away while surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019. She was born on April 23rd, 1937, to parents Raymond and LaVera Main, and was a lifelong resident of Ocoee, Florida.

Rosemary had a long and fulfilling career in the aerospace industry. She worked for Lockheed Martin as a missile technician for 45 years and received numerous awards and commendations throughout her career. Rosemary enjoyed fishing and gardening in her free time, and she was especially fond of her roses. A warm and generous woman, Rosemary was said to leave her door open to everyone. She was a strong person and never lost an argument.

Rosemary was blessed with a large, loving family. She is survived by her children, Pam Watters, Penny Watters Miller, Peggy Ruud, and Michael Watters; sisters Amy Bridges, June Moore, Joan Michael, and Dawn Sue Stiles; grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, Dylan, Travis, Justin, Cody, Aaron, Amber, Jesse, Taylor, and Ryan, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Paula Maddox; parents, LaVera Osteen Main and Raymond D. Main; and grandchildren Amanda Davis and Daniel Maddox.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 18, 2019, 11am, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home in Winter Garden.  Interment will follow in Ocoee Cemetery.  Following the interment, the family will have a reception at Stage Stop Campground, 14400 W. Colonial Drive, Winter Garden.  The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at the funeral home.
