Rebecca Sterns

Rebecca Lynn Sterns of Ocoee, FL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. She was 63 years old.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday ,January 23, 2021 at Vineland Road Christian Fellowship, 890 Vineland Rd, Winter Garden, Fl.

Mrs. Becky was born in Clearwater, FL on June 10, 1957 to the late Aaron and Wenell Spann Powell.

Mrs. Becky was known for her love for God, her family, and helping others. She served as a nurse and later in life as an admissions administrator at Winter Garden nursing home.

Mrs. Becky was a member of Vineland Road Christian Fellowship Church and served with a passion in children’s ministry for many years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Mark Sterns, a daughter, Lynellen Jennifer Sterns Stack, and two brothers, Waylon Powell and Hollis Powell.

She is survived by her daughter Cassandra Sterns, and son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Alexis Sterns of Ocoee, Fl; her son-in-law, Chris Stack of Houston,Tx; Two sisters, Sarah (Sam) Ward of Willard, MO; Ann (Jerry) VanVoorst of Samson, Al; one sister-in-law, Doris Powell; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family, and friends.
