Peggy Porter

Peggy Parish Porter, 66, of Daytona Beach, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 in Ormond Beach. She was born February 5, 1954 in Leesburg, FL, to James C. and Hazel Louise Parish.

Growing up, she attended Winter Garden Elementary, Lakeview High, and Mid Florida Tech.  She worked at two different Daycares and was a Candy Striper in the hospital.

Peggy enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  She also had her on horse and participated in Horse Show Competitions.  Peggy attended the First Baptist Church of Winter Garden.

She is survived by her children, Chris (Jenny) Parish, and James (Connie) Parish; three grandchildren; one sister, Pat (Gary) Vanderplaats; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Her brother, Gary Parish, passed away in 2000.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, 1 pm at Linden Cemetery, located on Hwy 50 just outside Webster, FL.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, Friday morning, at the funeral home.
