Paul Hughes

Paul Edward Hughes, 74, born in New Castle, PA passed February 11, 2015 at home surrounded by his family.
Paul and wife moved to Florida in 1970 and settled in Orlando in 1975, working for Montgomery Ward. He then went to Kane Furniture where he retired nine years ago.
Paul was a member of First UMC of Pine Hills and served his country as a member of the US Navy from 1959 to 1965.
Survived by loving wife of 51 years, Kathleen Lund Hughes; daughter, Heidi; sons, Hunter and Heidi, all from Orlando; five granddaughters, who he truly loved, Cayla, Cassidy, Cara, Madison and Ashlynne-Jo; brother Charles of Dixon, Ill; sister, Kathy Edie from New Castle, PA; several nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Margene.
A visitation will be held at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, 1148 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, on Monday, February 16 from 4 to 7. Services will be First UMC of Pine Hills, 1400 N. Nowell Street, Orlando on Tuesday, February 17 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kathleen to be distributed among their grandchildren.
