Patricia French

Patricia “Pat” Pitts French, 88, of Clermont, Florida passed away peacefully on November 4, 2021. She was born on October 3, 1933 in East Liverpool, Ohio to parents Howard and Louise Pitts. Pat had resided in East Liverpool, Ohio as well as in Avon Park, Winter Garden and Clermont, Florida. She also spent many happy times frequenting Lake Lure in North Carolina.

She was very involved with local community affairs, serving as a Sunday School teacher and a Girl Scout Troop leader among other things. Pat had many valued friendships and relationships with a wide variety of people from all walks of life. Her love knew no bounds. She enjoyed regularly attending professional baseball games, little league games and NASCAR races as both a fan and a photographer.

Pat adored her family and her world revolved around them as well as the friendships she held fast to throughout her life. Devoutly religious, she stood strong in her faith despite many hardships that life presented to her. She worked hard and loved harder.

Pat is predeceased by her parents as well as her first husband, Fred Davis; second husband Ralph French; daughter Winifred Corkhill; son Dan Davis, sister, Aretta Brooks; and brother, Kenny Pitts.

She is survived by her Grandchildren Rodger White, Travis White, Dana (Nicko) Suggs and Taylor Corkhill; Son-in-law Rick Corkhill; Great-Grandchildren Vann, Finn, and Adelaide Suggs, Sierra White; Sister, Jackie (Bill) Ketchum; sister-in-law Phyllis Pitts, and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday November 9, 2021 at 12noon with a Service to follow at 1pm at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home Chapel located at 1148 E. Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Interment at Winter Garden Cemetery will follow the services.
