Maudie C. Foster was born on November 8, 1938 in Arlington, GA to Wallace Foster and Fannie Foster. She was raised with her younger sister Eula Lee Rodgers (Foster) in Newark, NJ. Maudie attended Weequahic High School. Maudie would go on to have a son Derek Foster. Maudie would go on to graduate from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management, and graduate with a MBA from Rutgers University in 1977. Maudie lived in Dairy, NH, Houston, TX, Baltimore, MD, York, PA, Reston, VA before moving back to Winter Garden, FL.
Maudie worked in Program Management for 44 years, and retired as an adjunct professor of Keller Graduate School of Management. Maudie previously held professorships as adjunct professor at DeVry University, Penn State University, Mountainview College, Trinity College, and National Louis University. Maudie loved to travel and volunteer; she was a board member of both the West Orange Culture Keepers, and SCORE Association.
Maudie is survived by her sister, Eula Lee Rodgers (Foster); her grandson, Jamal and Jameel Mickens, great granddaughters Ameerah, Kaia, Amya, and Aleliah Mickens. Nieces , Denise Rodgers, Cecelia Rogers, and nephew Dwayne Rogers, Cousins Everlyn McFarland, Patricia MacFarland, Renard McFarland; and a host of other relatives and friends.
