Mary Kissner

July 7, 1927 — February 26, 2016

KISSNER, MARY M., of Mount Plymouth, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 26th, 2016. Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 7th, 1927, the daughter of James and Ona Barngrover, and the sister of David and Elizabeth Barngrover. As a child, Mary moved with her family to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she eventually met her future husband, Harry David Kissner, who was her family's paperboy. In 1951, they moved to Florida, where they resided the rest of their lives. At the time of Harry's death in 2005, their marriage had lasted 58 years. Although gradually losing her memory in her later years, Mary never lost her zest for life, or her love for her Savior or her family. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in 1978. Mary was a lifelong collector of dolls, having grown up during the Depression, and cherishing the one doll she would receive for Christmas every year. She loved her family, and treasured every moment she had to spend with them. Mary, Mom, Nana, will be missed and remembered by her family forever. She is survived by her daughters Linda, Sharon, and Judi, her sons Harry, Michael, and David, her grandchildren David Jr., Emily, Joseph, Joshua, Michael, Amy, Tamara, Jessica, Kalaya, Paul, Mary, Daniel, Kenneth, Donnie Jr., Melissa, Roy, and Donald, her great grandchildren Lily, Chloe, Andrew, Isaiah, Gavin, Daltyn, Trenton, Nathan, Mily, Dylan, Jessica, Jeremy, Serenity, Alexis, Aleigha, Donnie III, Mikaela, Cody Sr., Amber, Trey, Brittany, and Stephanie, and great great grandchildren Cody Jr., Sawyer, Parker, Cayden, Haley, and Jackson, her nephew Ernest, her nieces Rose, Madeline, and Valerie, her great nieces Amanda and April, her great great nephew Matisse, and her great great nieces Justice, Juliana, and Mary Jane.
