It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Mary Ann Amanda Campbell, 104 years old, on October 14, 2015. She was a strong and amazing God fearing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, great-great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend! A True Matriarch! Surrounded by her loving family, Ms. Campbell transitioned peacefully from her earthly home in Orlando FL to her heavenly one.
She was the first of eight children born in Falmouth Jamaica to Eugena and Robert Campbell. Ms. Campbell had a deep love for the Gore family and was entrusted with the care of their children;Lisa, Wendy, and Chris; for many years in which she remained deeply rooted to them throughout their adulthood.
Ms. Campbell was predeceased by both parents, as well as her sisters Icilda Brown, Edith Bembridge, and Hazel Foster. She was also predeceased by two brothers Richard and Dudley Campbell, and her two grandsons Franklin Kerr and Richard Kerr and a great-grandson Don Juan Kerr.
She leaves to mourn with cherished memories: loving daughter Cynthia Kerr Forbes and her husband Wilmot Forbes;son Joslyn Grizzle; and sisters Lucille Boreland and Adella Williams. She is also survived by grandchildren: Juliette Walker; Harold Kerr and his wife Tina Kerr; Keith Kerr; Kenneth Kerr and his wife Ruth Kerr; Cheryl Kerr; and Charles Grizzle and his wife Sarah. Surviving her are six generations of descendants including two great-great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and a loving church family at Deeper Life Assembly.
