Margaret Anne Blouse

Margaret Anne Blouse, 93 , of Winter Garden, passed away Saturday , February 24, 2024 at Advent Health.   She was born September 27, 1930 in Dearborn, Mi to Carl and Edena (Dena) Aretz.

Margaret was skilled as a Stenographer from Secretarial Training upon graduation from Fordson High School. At the age of 43 she completed a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan Dearborn Campus in Education, while raising 4 children.

Due to the changing job market, she returned to the workforce as a Secretary for Wayne County in Michigan using her stenographer skills taking dictation.

Margaret was a snowbird starting in 2011 spending the Winters in Florida.  In 2021 she became a resident of Winter Garden Florida. She was a member of West Orange Women’s Club 2019-2020. Margaret was an active participant in Ladies Bunco and International Dining.  Margaret enjoyed Bingo, and was a frequent winer. She loved playing Dominoes and cards.  She played the Piano, was crafty and loved to garden.

Margaret is survived by her children, Alice (Bruce) Bergeson, Linda (Greg) Struble, Carole Neal and Albert Neal; grandchildren Michael Bergeson, Scott Bergeson, Sarah Ehlers, Heather Miller, Alyssa Nistler, Megan Pietrzyk, Joseph Pietrzyk, Cassidy Frampton, Gregory Neal and Caitlyn Neal and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024 10:30 am at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. 

Interment  will be held at 11AM on September 21, 2024 at Michigan Memorial Park, 32163 Huron River Drive, Flat Rock, Mi 48134.
