Larry "Don" Heigle, 72, of Ocoee, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020. Born February 23, 1948 to Clarence E. and Anna Mae Heigle in Heber Springs, Arkansas, Don spent most of his life residing in Ocoee, Florida. He attended Fennville High School in Fennville, Michigan and Evangel Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. Don was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Army from 1968-1970. He was retired from CSX Railroad and FAAO Manheim Orlando and was a member of Ocoee Church of God, Ocoee, Florida. Don enjoyed Golfing, Baseball, Football, Church and reading the Bible.
Don is predeceased by his parents and his son, Harvey Gene Oliver.
He is survived by his wife Betty Joyce Heigle; children: Mandy Almanza, Charlie Almanza and daughter-in-law Sue Oliver; grandchildren: Gina Cole (J.C.), Ryan Almanza (Mara), Leah Almanza, and Garrett Oliver; great grandchildren: Lexis, Harley and Sadie Cole. siblings: Icey Pierce, Fay Harrell, Linda Calvert and Glenda Keoppen; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11, 2020, 11 AM, at the Ocoee Church of God, 1105 N. Lakewood Avenue, Ocoee. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Winter Garden Cemetery at 12:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday evening, September 10, 2020 from 6 to 8 PM.
