Kareem R. Brown, 39, of Ocoee, Florida died Tuesday October 6th, 2015 in Orlando, Florida.
Kareem was born July 8th, 1976 in New York City, New York and spent most of his growing years in the suburb of New Rochelle, NY. To those who were blessed with the opportunity to know him, knew he was a joy in life. He brought a smile to our faces, and elation to our hearts. He discovered a love for the martial arts at a young age, going on to win several
tournament trophies, and earning his highest honor, the fifth degree black belt.
Kareem pursued life with passion. Kareem graduated from New Rochelle High School, then acquired his Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Columbia College. And as time and life progressed, he proudly served our country in
the United States Army to which he served two tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom III and V. He was honorably discharged in 2009 and continued to serve as a Civilian Contractor overseas helping our troops.
In the midst of his tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, the joy of his heart was in knowing that all of his efforts was to provide for his family. Family was at the center of his heart; center of his life. Kareem leaves behind his loving wife Diana Brown; mother Veronica Snow and father Michael Snow, of Pembroke Pines, FL.; four children Khalil Moore, Kyanna Brown, Kareem Brown Jr., and Kalyn Brown; brother Michael Snow Jr.; and sister Renee Snow. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, caring father, beloved son, charismatic brother, and sought after friend.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 16, 11am at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. The family will receive friends starting at 9am. Interment will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with Military Honors.
