Julia Cotto

Julia Cotto, age 84 of Reading, Pennsylvania passed away on August 5, 2013. She was born on May 2, 1929 in Caquas, Puerto Rico. Julia was a homemaker and by her faith she was Pentecostal. Julia was proud of the missionary work she did for her church, but her greatest joy occurred in 1976 when she was baptized into the Lord. She did not go very far in public school, but she was able to graduate from her churchs Biblical College, where she was at the top of her class. Julia loved to garden and enjoy the music of the Lord while doing so. One of favorite songs in the name of the Lord was Mi espiritu, alma y cuerpo. She also loved to cook and bake for her family and spend time with them. Julia is survived by her children: Maria Ramos, Luis Ramos, Margaret Rodriguez, Carlos Aleman, Julio Rivera, Sonia Gauiter, Ivette Velez and Luis F. Rivera, her 21 grandchildren and her 23 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 12 1 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will follow at 1 PM Monday in the chapel of Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, Winter Garden, FL. Interment will be at the Winter Garden Cemetery, Winter Garden, FL.
