Juan Cruzada

On Friday, June 4th, 2021at 2:58 pm, surrounded by his loving family, God called Home his finest gardener to tend the flowers in Heaven. Juan "Johnny" Vicedo Cruzada, age 85, was a resident of Ocoee, Florida for 20 years and formerly of Mount Prospect, Illinois. Johnny was born March 8, 1936 in Nasugbu, Batangas, Philippines to the late Santiago and Anastasia Cruzada. In 1975, in search of a better life for his family, he made the sacrifice of coming to America and did just that. Along with his beautiful wife, they did all they could to prosper and succeed, then help, provide and serve anyone who's in need as a way of serving God. This is his legacy.
Johnny was the beloved husband for 58 years of Erlinda; loving father of Jocelyn (Kurt) Wilhelm, and Jonalyn Cruzada, and Joel Cruzada; cherished grandfather, Wowo and Papa of Amanda (Kilian) Charara-Kuhn, Lauressa Cruzada, Ava Wilhelm, Brianna Kuhn, Elijah Cruzada, Mahri Cruzada, Connor Wilhelm and Sari Cruzada; dear brother of Adoracion Cruzada Erni and David Cruzada; and adored family and friend to many many more.
Johnny is preceded in death by his siblings; Eufemio, Nicolas, Dionisio, Nicomido, Cristina Vicedo, Ester Digo, Consolacion, and Andrea Noveno.
Johnny graduated with top honors from the University of the East in the Philippines with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration on October 1958. He enjoyed a career in Accounting and after 12 years of service, he retired as the Chief Auditor for the Illinois State Police, Medicaid Fraud Division.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service and visitation on Friday, June 11, 2021 beginning at 11 am at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home, 1148 East Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL. 34787.
Burial will take place at Orlando Memorial Gardens located at 5264 Ingram Road, Apopka, Florida 32703.
