Joyce Morgan

Joyce Ann Morgan, 74, of Tavares, Florida passed away December 22, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospice of Tavares. Born on February 10, 1947 in Winter Garden, Florida to parents Levy Palmer and Jessie Mae Strickland, she lived most of her life in Winter Garden. Joyce attended Tildenville Elementary School, Winter Garden Elementary School and Lakeview High School. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church. She was a retired Business Owner (Walt's Welding).

Joyce loved her family fiercely. She also loved EBay, Cruises and Fishing. She loved her dog Missy very much.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Walter James Morgan; sons Jeffery Lee (Lisa), Walter Shaun (Wanda) and Timothy Carol (Paige); grandchildren Kaitlin Mize, Kelly Morgan, Taylor Morgan, Holly Rodriguez, Justin Morgan, Hailee Meli and Halston Morgan; great-grandchildren Emre Kolsen Rodriguez, Sahara Mize and Aiden Mize.  Joyce is also survived by two sisters, Betty Swindle and Doris Walton and many nieces and nephews.

Her beloved dog, Missy, will miss Joyce very much.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Morgan will be held at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at 1pm. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Winter Garden Cemetery.
