Joyce Craig

Joyce Dorothy Craig, 78, of Winter Garden, FL went to be with Jesus on Sunday September 13, 2020. Dorothy was born in Killarney, FL on January 31, 1942 to Luther Eddie and Jessie Pearl Padgett.

After graduation from Lakeview High School, Dorothy went to Beautician school and worked at, and owned, several Beauty shops in Winter Garden. In the 80s she retired from the Beauty business and owned Dot and Betts Drive Service and later JDC Transport, with her Husband Homer Craig. She was retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Winter Garden and for many years served as the Wedding Coordinator and on the Flower/Decorating committee. Dorothy, like her husband Homer, was an avid Florida Gator Fan.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Brian Craig; daughter Tina Freeman(Ric); grandchildren Richard Freeman Jr. (Cherie) and Joshua Freeman; sister June Ashley; sister-in-law Alice Spilliard(David), brother-in-laws Dean Craig(Margaret) and Russell Craig(Martha); great-grandchildren Shyanne, Colton, and Kimber; Five Nephews and Six Nieces. She is predeceased by her husband, her parents, her brother-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

At this time, there are no memorial plans for the safety and protection of all of those she cared for and loved so very much.
