Joanne Sawyer

Joanne Elizabeth Sawyer, 73, of Orlando, Florida, passed away Sunday August 23, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late Emery  and Jane Jandrowitz of Passaic, New Jersey.

Mrs. Sawyer graduated from Pope Pius XII High School and William Patterson University.  She taught 3rd Grade Gifted and Talented students at Taylor Mills Schools in Manalapan, New Jersey.

She is survived by her husband John S. Sawyer, III of Colts Neck, New Jersey and Orlando, Florida; her three children; Kevin James Sawyer of Windermere, Florida,  John S. Sawyer, IV of Dallas, Texas, and Keith Sawyer of Binghamton, New York; brother, James Jandrowitz of Elizabeth, New Jersey; and her son Kevin’s three children, her loving grandchildren.

Joanne was a beautiful soul who will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank everyone for their loving words and kind expressions of sympathy during this time.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020, 11am at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Orlando Memorial Gardens.
