Husband, Father of three boys, Brother & Uncle, Evangelist, World Traveler, Visionary Entrepreneur, Teacher, Creative Artist and appreciator of all fine arts, Author, man of faith, and fashionista Jerry Docarmo passed away at his home in Orlando, FL, on November 14th, 2022, at the age of 55.
Jerry had a life-long love of learning, earning his Executive MBA at Notre Dame, his MBA at MSU and receiving several Masters Certificates from Harvard Business School. He was a Youth Cooperator at the Christian Congregation in the United States, in Newark, NJ for over 6 years and adored working with youth and children, inspiring their faith. He was the Founder and CEO of Harvest English Institute, with schools in multiple states. Jerry loved giving others opportunities that he didn't have, and was thrilled to see others succeed. He had a passion for language and used it as a tool to bring others to a better quality of life.
Arising from humble beginnings, helping his mother sell fruit on the beaches of Ubatuba, and much later migrating to the U.S. to work at various manual labor jobs, Jerry was a "Jack of all trades", and always strived for personal and professional growth, while taking the opportunity to change the lives of all those he encountered, even when he didn't have the means to. Having a charismatic personality, Jerry was the life of every party, and inspired people to love God, by touching their lives with the message of faith which he held so dearly. One of Jerry greatest joys was to preach the Gospel to those who didn't know Jesus Christ, ministering unto souls in the U.S., his native country Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Haiti, throughout Europe, Asia, and in more countries that can't be listed here.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ana Angelica, his three sons; Kevin, Andrew, and Ethan, his mother and father; Marina and Benedito Do Carmo, and four sisters, Jacqueline, Jania, Janaina, and Juliana, and so many other lives that were changed through meeting him.
