Hector Ramsay

Hector H. Ramsay was born on April 5, 1942 in Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland Jamaica to the late Claude and Doris Ramsay. He had four brothers (three deceased) and three sisters. He was an entrepreneur with a penchant for business. He developed and executed successfully different avenues of haberdashery and liquor sales. Eventually, he married Tracy and had a daughter. A few years later, they migrated to the United States and lived in New Jersey where their son was born. After working for Warner Lambert, Hector decided to venture out into his own business. As many know, Hector had a passion for cooking for his family and friends. He was also an avid sports fan. He was passionate about baseball, especially the New York Yankees. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved spending time with them, cooking for them, playing with them, picking them up from school and of course, taking them for their favorite snacks. Hector transitioned on April 15, 2022 at the age of 80 surrounded by his loved ones. Hector is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, son-in-law, sisters, brother, and other family members.
