Grace Schuster

Grace Eleanor Schuster passed away peacefully on April 1, 2015. She was born in Cleveland, OH on January 31, 1927 to the late John and Eleanor Haendiges. Grace had three brothers, Roger, John and Thomas Haendiges, who predeceased her. She also has three sisters Shirley Leffler, Jean Barnhart and Helyn McManus who survive her.

Except for short periods of time in Minnesota and California, Grace lived in Cleveland, OH. She graduated in 1945 and worked in various office jobs. She also served in the Jr. Red Cross during WW II. She met her husband Warren while roller skating on Valentine's Day and they were married soon after. They lived in OH, until 1981 when they moved to Mt. Dora, FL.

Grace and Warren served devotedly at Faith Lutheran and enjoyed square dancing and swimming. Warren, the love of her life, passed away in 2005 after 57 years of marriage.

She is survived by her four sons, Larry (Frances), Wayne (Cindy), Randy (Tammy) and Daryl (Deirdre) as well as ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Eustis, FL on April 18th at 1:00.
