Gail Mitchell

Gail Sullivan Mitchell, 79, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, FL. Gail was born and raised in Stamford, CT prior to moving to Florida in 1967. She was a Homemaker.

Gail lived for her family. In August 1966, she met Jim, the love of her life, at a "Parents without Partners" meeting in Stamford, CT. They married after a mere 12-days of dating, celebrating 54-years of togetherness on August 31, 2020. Being a Mother to her 4-children was the ultimate joy for Gail; with the addition of grandchildren, her life was complete. She enjoyed celebrating holidays and family get-togethers. As she and Jim settled into their golden years, Gail developed a passion for reading books on the Royal Family, Hollywood "everything," politics & and Publix cheesecake.

Gail is survived by her loving husband, Jim; daughters Jamie McWilliams (David Moore); Paisley Blackburn; son, Jeffrey (Rebecca Houghton); Step-daughters Lorraine Cerruli & Lynne Mitchell; grandchildren Ashley McWilliams; Tia Holzworth; Ryder Dixon & Sapphira Tharp; Sisters, Pamela LoPiano & Wendy Sullivan (Renee' Kristol) and Niece, Jennifer Gillespie (Christopher). She is pre-deceased by her parents, James Sullivan & Dorothy Sileo; her son Jimmy & grandson, Justin McWilliams.

A celebration of life is being planned for Saturday, December 5, 2020, 10:30 am. Due to safety concerns surrounding COVID19, only immediate family will be attendance. However, the service will be streamed live for those unable to attend.
