Frances Duun

In loving memory of our mother:

Frances Duun, 91, passed away on May 4, 2019, with her family by her side.  She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 12, 1927, to the late Anthony and Mary (Terranova) Aiello. She is predeceased by her husband Alf Duun; daughter Karen Duun Cruz, and grandson Brett Dashnaw. She is survived by her daughters Diana Duun Grosvenor, Kathryn Duun, and Elizabeth Duun; her grandson Sean Grosvenor and his wife Kym Adams Grosvenor; and four great grandchildren.

Frances had a broad knowledge of classical music and opera. She had a beautiful soprano voice and in her youth she often sang along side recordings of the Three Tenors. She passed on her love of music to her children.

She was a florist who spent much of her time  creating beautiful arrangements and decorations for holiday festivities and events, which she shared with family and friends. Cooking and baking were her favorite pastimes. Her gift in life was to share her talents with others. She always said, “Treat others as you want to be treated”. She was a kind and generous soul and left all of us only with the best of memories.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 11th at 3 PM at 238 Wescliff Drive, Ocoee FL, 34761.
