Donald Wayne West

Donald Wayne West, 94, of Winter Garden, passed away on July 19, 2024.

He was born on September 4, 1929 in Meyersdale, PA., the son of the late William and Emma (Bittner) West. Donald served in the US Army Japan. He managed a variety store in Pennsylvania, then was a traveling salesman, and an insurance salesman for a number of years. After he retired, he was a mail clerk at Wycliffe Bible Translators, Orlando.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Keith West.

He is survived by his wife, Becky (Rebecca) (Anderson) West, one son, Craig West, and one daughter, Tammy Bowers, her husband, Gary and their children: Charlie Bowers and Lynsey Bowers Ross. His other grandchildren: Jennifer Beste, Lynnie West, Jonathan West, Brittany Grey, Lorynn West. He had 7 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Berean Baptist Church Leesburg, bbcleesburg.com on Sunday July 28 at approximately 12:30pm.
