Donald Watson, 81, of Ocoee, Florida, passed away Saturday July 2, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Watson. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Donnalee Watson, Tate Watson (Tori), David Branom (Rene'), Lisa Locke (Bill), Sandra Orris (Bob), eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dan Watson as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Don served four years in the Navy aboard several ships including a destroyer during the Korean War, and six years as a reservist. After returning home, he moved to Orlando in 1957. He began working as a plumber and in 1966 joined the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 803. He supervised many projects including Walt Disney World, Epcot, Seaworld, Universal Studios, and Cape Canaveral to name a few.
After retiring, he enjoyed traveling with his wife Barbara, loved working in his yard, planting trees, harvesting grapes, citrus, avocadoes, and blueberries. He enjoyed music and friends. He will be missed.
Services for Don will be held Friday July 8, 2016 at 11:00 am. Visitation is 10:00 - 11:00.
