David Rogers

David Craig Rogers of Orlando, Florida, after several years, succumbed to cancer to be with the Lord on June 7th, 2021. Born in Dallas, Texas to parents Joan Eleanor Phelps Rogers and William N. Rogers, Jr. on May 31, 1961, he also lived in Brazil and in Altamonte Springs and Orlando, Florida. He attended Lyman High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orlando.

A project manager by trade, David also enjoyed his HAM radio, motorcycling, jet-skiing and creating unforgettable memories with family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Andrea; his children Jennifer Rogers (Erica Cicero), Anthony Craig Rogers, Christina Cowden (Jeff), Melissa Rogers (Kevin Tuite); his father, William N. Rogers, Jr; his siblings Lisa Rogers Orozco (Glenn) and Stephen Phelps Rogers (Shannon); his beloved grandchildren Joey Barna, Easton Cowden, Luka Rogers, Layla Rogers, Lena Rogers, Kayden Tuite, Khloe Tuite, Kora Tuite and Baby Cowden on the way in September 2021. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his pet, Sophie.

David is predeceased by his mother, Joan Eleanor Phelps Rogers.

Guests will be received on Friday June 11, 2021 at 11am preceding a 12pm Funeral Service at the Henry Chapel of First Baptist Church of Orlando, 3000 S. John Young Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32805.
