Billy Jenkins

Billy Joe Jenkins, Sr age 86, passed away in his home on June 27, 2022.
Billy was born in Brookhaven, Georgia on November 21, 1935.
He enlisted in the United States Marines in 1953 and was honorably discharged in 1957. He was a proud Marine "Semper Fi". He then moved to Orlando, Florida to live with his parents when soon after met Wanda Evans. They were married in 1959 and had three wonderful children Joey, Wendy and Timmy!
Billy worked for Martin Marietta, Lockheed and TWA at Kennedy Space Center. He loved and talked about being a part of the team that went to the moon. He later went into self employment with his brother until he retired.
Through the years he volunteered his time at the local food bank. Billy was a avid dancer and loved to clog and line dance.
Billy was very proud of his family. He was a great husband and father.
He is survived by his wife Wanda, their children Joe (Christine), Wendy (Larry-predeceased), Tim (April) and the Sunshines of his life his grandchildren Dustin, Brianna, Carter and Hana.
