Arcadia Pacheco

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Arcadia Pacheco Nieves, who passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023 at the age of 95.

Arcadia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife. She was born on January 22, 1928 in Penuelas, P.R. to Etanislao & Mercedes Nieves, and grew up in Penuelas. She was known for her love of her children and husband, and a dedicated homemaker.

Arcadia and Ramon Pacheco both met in Puerto Rico, and were married. Together they raised a daughter Evelyn, and 4 boys: Ramon Jr., Luis, Daniel and Roosevelt in Brooklyn, New York. She was a devoted mother who always put her children first. She was a loving grandmother to her 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and loved knowing and spending time with them.

Arcadia enjoyed cooking, and walking for long hours and visiting neighbors and attending church. She will be remembered for her strong and passionate love for her children and family. When her Husband Ramon Pacheco retired, they moved and settled in Orlando Florida.

Arcadia is survived by her children, Luis, Daniel and Roosevelt, and her grandchildren, Claudia, Jaime jr. Luis Jr., Alexis, Sydney, and great-grandchildren, Christopher, Letysia, Luis, Gabriel, Aaliyah, Salma great-great-granddaughter, Alisia. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private service will be held for family and close friends. at "Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home" on Friday, Feb 17th, at 2:00pm.
