Albert Douglas Neal, 92, of Winter Garden, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Florida Hospital from heart failure. He was born March 3, 1929, in Detroit, MI, to Charles and Mary Awizius Mustiatis.
Albert served his country during the aftermath of World War II during the Occupation and Restoration of Japan as a member of the US Army. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal, the Army of Occupation-Japan Medal, and the Parachute Badge. He was a retired Electronic Technician and a former Dale Carnegie Contest Winner. Albert was a member of AA and the VFW. In his spare time, Albert enjoyed running, DOS, Rubik’s Cube and Camping.
Albert is survived by his children, Alice (Bruce) Bergeson, Linda (Greg) Struble, Carole Neal, and Albert (Carol) Neal; grandchildren, Michael Bergeson, Scott Bergeson, Sarah Ehlers, Heather Miller, Alyssa Nistler, Megan Pietrzyk, Joseph Pietrzyk, Cassidy Neal, Gregory Neal, and Caitlyn Neal; and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2021, 2pm, at Collison Carey Hand Funeral Home. Interment at Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors will be held Monday, October 18, 2021, at 2pm.

The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend.
